The 2027 Spring Paper-Folding Meeting will take place from April 9 to 11, 2027, in Angers (49) at the "L'Esvières" community hub (Tiers-lieu), located a 10-minute walk from the Saint-Laud train station.

Registration will open in late November 2026.

Our guest speakers will be announced at a later date.

Whether you are a creator or simply an enthusiast, this gathering is a wonderful opportunity to teach folding techniques to other participants, take part in technical workshops, and—above all—meet and connect with fellow folders in a very friendly atmosphere.

We look forward to seeing you there for this shared celebration of origami!

What is included in the packages?

The packages include access to the event venue and participation in the workshops offered (with materials provided, subject to capacity limits), as well as a participant welcome kit containing paper, documents, and the 2027 "Collection of Folds" (*Collection de plis*) booklet. They also offer the opportunity to teach or exhibit your work during the event. They do not include meals, accommodation, transportation, or any additional activities that may be offered as optional extras.

Cancellation Policy

If you need to cancel your attendance before March 16, the association will refund your package fee, minus the association membership fee and any payment-related charges (if you paid via PayPal).

Accommodation and meal costs will be refunded for cancellations made before March 26th.

Attending with a companion?

If you are under 16 years of age, you must be accompanied by an adult. If this person intends to participate in the workshops, they will need to purchase a registration package (excluding membership); otherwise, a "companion pass" (free of charge) will suffice.

If you have a disability that requires the assistance of a companion, they will only need a "companion pass" (free of charge).

How do I teach?

If you register as an instructor, we will contact you to discuss the details.

Have you never taught a group of folders at an event before? This is a great opportunity to get started in front of a supportive audience! We can offer advice, help you prepare your lesson plan, and provide on-site support if needed.

How can I exhibit?

Whether you are a creator or not, exhibiting your origami models during the gatherings is highly encouraged! It is a great opportunity to exchange tips and ideas with other folders and to showcase your skills.

If you have registered as an exhibitor, a space on a table will be reserved for you. For any special requirements (such as wall displays or additional space), please get in touch with us so we can find the best possible solution.

Regardless of whether you are a creator, it is important to label the exhibited models with the name of the person who folded them and the name of the original creator. You may prepare your labels in advance to include all the relevant details (folder, creator, etc.), or you can find paper on-site to create them.

Please note that this is not an exhibition-sale.

What is the program?

The program is developed based on the participants. A dynamic schedule will be made available two weeks before the event. Rest assured, there will be workshops and engaging sessions every day, catering to a variety of interests and skill levels!

I have another question!
