The May 2023 Paper Folding Convention (Rencontres de Mai<\/em>) will take place from May 18 to 21, 2023 in the parish halls of Saint-Antoine des Quinze-Vingt, Paris 12th<\/sup>, a stone\u2019s throw from the Gare de Lyon and a few strides from the association\u2019s office. We will be happy to meet you during this moment of sharing around origami !<\/p>\n

What is our convention ?<\/h3>\n

These are the traditional annual convention of the Mouvement Fran\u00e7ais des Plieurs de Papier<\/em> (the oldest French Origami Association).<\/p>\n

Four days of workshops, conferences, collective foldings and animation. This is an opportunity to meet other folders, to exhibit your own foldings and to share around our common passion and to learn or to teach foldings and techniques.<\/p>\n

You can access the papeterigami (the association\u2019s shop) to buy paper and books, as well as part of the orith\u00e8que (the association\u2019s library).<\/p>\n

Meals are not included but easy to find around the meeting place.<\/p>\n

You can join us for one or more days depending on your availabilities.<\/p>\n

Who can participate ?<\/h3>\n

This year, the convention is limited to the members of the association. However, you can take your membership along with your passport and thus benefit from all that the association offers to its members.<\/p>\n

Underage participants must be accompanied by a responsible adult.<\/p>\n

Where does it take place ?<\/h3>\n

In Paris, in the 12th<\/sup> arrondissement, in the parish halls of Saint-Antoine des Quinze-Vingt, near the Gare de Lyon. A location easy to find and close to all shops.
